Presented and created by Sharing Our Cultures, 'Imagine SPACE' (Support Positive Action Collaboration and Experiences) is a documentary that shares the first-hand accounts of the lived experience of young people in the province.

The film was created in an effort to stimulate conversations and encourage the community to take concrete actions towards embracing cultural diversity, and get rid of racism and discrimination. The screening will be followed by a moderated panel discussion.

Family Fun

Step into a world of family fun at The Rooms! It’s an afternoon of creativity and connection for all ages. With a different theme and art activity every month designed by our educators to connect with current exhibitions, there’s something new every time! What will you create? All materials provided.

This month, to celebrate spring, we are making paper flowers! Drop by and create your own flower or make an entire bouquet to take home. You will learn about different parts of the flower, including leaves, petals, stamens and stems.

Included in the cost of admission. Free for Rooms Members.

Get Hands on with our province’s plants, animals and wild spaces at The Rooms with Nature NL!

Nature Nook is a monthly hands-on session to interact with real specimens like seal pelts, skulls, whale baleen, antlers, moose fur, and a variety of rocks and minerals. Join us to learn more about nature and ask our volunteers all your questions about Newfoundland and Labrador’s wildlife!
