Get Hands on with our province’s plants, animals and wild spaces at The Rooms with Nature NL!
Nature Nook is a monthly hands-on session to interact with real specimens like seal pelts, skulls, whale baleen, antlers, moose fur, and a variety of rocks and minerals. Join us to learn more about nature and ask our volunteers all your questions about Newfoundland and Labrador’s wildlife!

Treat mom or a special mother-figure in your life to a special one-hour performance by guest artists, Shelley Neville and Peter Halley. This dynamic duo will entertain you with songs they love to sing and stories about their adventures together.
You will be treated to coffee and tea along with a delicious scone, thick cream and jam – all in a setting with a stunning view overlooking the Narrows.
Tickets: $40 per person + HST. 10% discount for Members. Advanced tickets are required. Please contact Visitor Services at 709-757-8090. Please include the number of people in your party at the time of booking. Please note this program accommodates communal seating only.
The program also includes admission to the galleries and a special take away treat.
About the Musicians:
Shelley Neville and Peter Halley have been awarded the honorary Queens Diamond Jubilee Medal and are proud cast members of the Gander production of the Broadway musical Come From Away. They have sung for the Queen in Bonavista, US Presidents and Canadian Prime Ministers, and almost every nook and cranny in Newfoundland and Labrador.
