All About Icebergs Watercolour Workshop
Icebergs are naturally captivating – they appear on our horizons and shorelines every spring and summer, breathing cold arctic air over the land. Sculpted by wind and ocean, ever changing in shape and colour.
During this engaging afternoon, participants will get to touch iceberg ice collected from the North Atlantic, be inspired by beautiful paintings of icebergs by artist Tara Byran, see historic iceberg photographs, see a lifejacket used on The Titanic, and will create their very own iceberg-inspired watercolour painting using actual iceberg water.
Takeaways also include a memento bottle of iceberg water and a custom postcard set of historic iceberg images from our Archives.
This is a workshop for adults. No painting experience necessary - all skill levels welcome!
